Hello, my name is Melinda and my business partner and friend's name is Tiffany. A few months ago Tiffany and I decided to take the plunge and start our own business, a specialty bakery. Both of us being total novices at business ownership, it has been a learning process to be sure.
We created this blog to document the adventures, or misadventures of our struggles to get our specialty bakery off the ground and to answer the question we are constantly asked by friends, co-workers and sometimes strangers, "How's the bakery coming?".
We hope this serves either as an inspiration and guide for all you other entrepreneurs who hope to one day start your own business or as a warning, depending on how this all works out. We're hoping it's not the latter but either way, we hope to blog about the ups and downs, successes and failures, joys and irritations.
